Wild at Heart Education

*** Updated Weekly - Under Construction***
Welcome to the newest section of our website where we will be offering educational information about wildlife and our local environment! This page is currently under construction and will be updated regularly as be build up our online resource base.
At our centre, we treat a variety of orphaned, injured, and sick wildlife each year and many, if not, most, of the wildlife that come to our centre in need of treatment have been affected by negative human contact. We often can avoid these problems if we are careful and educated about our fellow creatures. We are working to educate people of all ages about positive interactions with wildlife where both humans and wildlife can coexist peacefully in the same areas.
Wild at Heart's education programs are currently being developed for students and the public. We have five themes in our education programs that we feel encompass our mission, our mandate, our commitment to the environment, and foster respect for wildlife. We are currently working to develop those themes into school programs (both in-house and outreach), public education workshops, information sessions, displays, and visitor experience programs, all at our new centre in Lively, Ontario.
